Federal Actions:

Ask Representative Strickland to Champion Reproduction Freedom

We need Congress to step up and pass federal legislation to safeguard our reproductive freedom.

It’s crucial that Democrats fight for reproductive freedom even while Republicans have the majority in the House. We know that abortion is a winning issue at the polls, and Members of Congress who are strong champions for abortion rights are strong candidates for 2024. Then, when Democrats regain the House, we’ve already built the support needed to pass these bills and protect our rights!

Note: Representative Marilyn Strickland has signed on to cosponsor HR 782 but has yet to sign on for HR 3420 and HR 4303.

Action:  Call or email Representative Strickland to ask her to cosponsor HR 3420 and HR 4303.
  • Marilyn Strickland, Phone: 202-225-9740 or Contact Form

Script: Hello, I’m a constituent from Olympia, and I’m calling to ask Representative Strickland to be a Champion for Reproductive Freedom.

I want to first thank Representative Strickland for cosponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act and HR 782, Ensuring Women’s Right to Reproductive Freedom Act. However, I now ask her to cosponsor these two additional bills: HR 3420: My Body, My Data Act and HR 4303: Abortion Justice Act

All four bills are critical to ensuring that everyone, everywhere can access abortion care. I expect my elected representative to oppose anti-abortion MAGA extremists and be a champion for reproductive freedom. Will Representative Strickland cosponsor HR 3420 and HR 4303?

Sincerely,
[YOUR NAME]

Tell Ad Network Criteo to Stop Funding Climate Disinformation

Sign saying Science for the people, evidence based decisions please

According to ad network Criteo’s environmental sustainability commitment, “the backlash of climate change on our lives can no longer be ignored.” Criteo’s Supply Partner Guidelines prohibit display ads containing content that “shares mistruths and falsehoods” or “is intentionally designed to shock or horrify the user or generate attention through intentionally misleading or grotesque claims."

So… why are they funding Townhall, a top climate change disinformation outlet? Let's ask them! Below yo;u'll find email addresses and a template to do exactly that. Copy and paste our suggested text, or write your own.

Action:  Contact the Criteo Board of Directors to question their funding of Townhall.

To: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]

Subject: Please stop funding Townhall.com's climate disinformation

Body: I'm reaching out to find out if Criteo plans to continue placing ads on Townhall.com, despite the site running flagrantly afoul of your company's environmental commitments and partner guidelines.

According to your environmental sustainability commitment, “the backlash of climate change on our lives can no longer be ignored.” Your own Supply Partner Guidelines prohibit display ads containing content that “shares mistruths and falsehoods” or “is intentionally designed to shock or horrify the user or generate attention through intentionally misleading or grotesque claims."

Townhall.com website publishes tons of columnists with far-out views. Many of them are climate deniers — 46 of them are listed in climate watchdog DeSmog’s disinformation database.

A Center for Countering Digital Hate report found the site is in the top tier among 10 fringe publishers responsible for nearly 70% of Facebook user interactions with denying climate change.

Yet you are connecting Townhall.com to the advertising supply chain, enabling the spread of its climate disinformation. And Townhall Media isn't just one site, it’s part of a sprawling networking of hate speech and disinformation websites, including:
  • Bearing Arms
  • Hot Air
  • Instapundit
  • PJ Media
  • RedState
  • Twitchy

Do you plan to continue funding climate disinformation? If you do not, you can drop Townhall's seller ID, B-061240.

Thank you,
