Free speech is one of America’s constitutional rights. We subscribe to that. Our goal on social media is to support and mobilize an informed and engaged community. We invite you to share your ideas, information, and events supporting progressive politics.
Respect is one of our core values. We strive to create an online environment that is friendly, truthful and civil--free of unsubstantiated claims and toxicity.
Our policy is to accept the majority of comments and posts made to our profiles. Olympia Indivisible does not agree with or endorse every comment or post on our pages, but we won’t delete something just because we disagree with it.
We will delete comments or posts that contain:
Olympia Indivisible will review links posted in comments, and we may delete them. Repeated violations of our comment policy may cause Olympia Indivisible’s administrators to block users from our social media profiles.
Olympia Indivisible is a 100% volunteer-powered organization. Social media is a 24/7 medium, and our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see an inappropriate comment or post right away, and we trust our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.
