COVID - 19

5/3/2020

The outbreak of COVID-19 is now a pandemic and Washington is currently the epicenter in the US. This is a very challenging situation for all of us. The good news is that we have very strong leadership and expertise within our state. Olympia Indivisible is an interconnected community of caring individuals and all of us want to do what is necessary to keep everyone safe, healthy, and engaged.

At the moment, the best way we can respond is to put a hold on any OI activities which might put anyone at risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. To that end, as of Thursday March 12, we are temporarily suspending the following activities:

TGIF (we will NOT be meeting up for TGIF until further notice); marches and rallies; all-member meetings; postcard and letter writing face-to-face parties; currently under discussion (we will update shortly!).

Clearly, we need to do some re-imagining in order to stay engaged in this uncharted territory. One way to do this is SUPER EASY! Do your weekly Call to Action requests. These are actions which you can do from home.
